Legacy Youth Zone
In April this year, we renewed our support with Legacy Youth Zone, Croydon, which offers young people aged 8-19 (or sometimes up to 25 years old) somewhere to go 7 days a week, with loads of activities to try out.
We offer 7 spaces for our residents to take advantage of over the school holidays, so if this is something you’d be interested in, please email citeam@ccha.biz for more information.
What does it cost?
Annual membership costs £5 and then it’s just 50p per visit.
What does the membership and entry cost get me?
Young people will have access to an indoor climbing wall, a music room with a recording studio, a 3G kick pitch, a boxing gym, a sports hall, a training kitchen, a fully equipped gym, a dance and drama studio, an enterprise suite and much more.
My young person has additional needs, are they welcome?
Yes, Legacy offers an Inclusion Club on Sundays which is dedicated to ensuring all young people aged 8 to 25 with a disability can get involved in the activities they want to. Parents and carers can attend alongside their young person.
What is on offer for juniors?
Juniors aged 8 to 12 years old can take advantage of a variety of activities and they often hold tailored workshops, such as DJ workshops or Army Assault Course training.
What about seniors?
Seniors aged 13 to 19 can attend the Senior Club, with over 20 activities, regular theme nights, special events and tournaments. There are also additional opportunities such as the Young Leaders Programme, Enterprise, Media Squad and external experiences such as sailing, snowboarding, football and more.
