Fundraising in lockdown

At ccha we’re committed to supporting charities that matter to us. Our wellbeing team do a great job of organising events and they haven’t stopped through lockdown.

Wear it Pink

Each year we support Wear it Pink in memory of a member of staff who passed away. This year was a bit different with us all working from home, so we had a virtual coffee and catch up via skype, all wearing pink to support the cause.

Wellbeing Walk

At the beginning of December 2020, we held a Wellbeing Walk Week to promote the importance of keeping active.

The event brought our staff together while supporting some charities. Staff were challenged to walk as many miles as they could and, for each mile walked, ccha donated 50p. We chose to support Croydon Foodbank, Mind and Emmaus who we feel have been a great support for communities, especially during lockdown.

Eighteen ccha staff walked a total of 437.28 miles during Wellbeing Walk Week.

With some extra donations, staff raised £280.64 for our chosen charities.

Well done team!

Jeans for Genes

Ccha is usually a smart office, but not on Jeans for Genes day! Staff come in wearing jeans and donate towards the cause. We hope that next year we’ll be back in the office to participate.

We’re hoping to hold more virtual charity events in 2021.

If you’ve done any fundraising for charity, food bank collections, or anything else, we would love to hear from you. We’ll share your success in a news article on our website. Email us at citeam@ccha.biz.
