Investing in your community

Each year, we dedicate a fund towards improving residents’ local communities. These can be for estate improvements, outdoor spaces, or for social and community events and activities. The President’s Fund is available for all current ccha residents to apply for, providing your request benefits your community.

At one of our sites on a busy main road, pedestrians were littering the front corner of the garden, making an unsightly and unhygienic mess. To prevent this, we fitted fences to the corner to prevent the rubbish from being thrown into the residents’ gardens and make the border cleaner for all in that area.

To ensure internal communal areas are kept clear to adhere to fire regulation, we built an external, wooden, water-tight buggy cupboard close to the main entrance for residents to use daily.
