Value for money
Fully integrate ICT systems throughout ccha and a secure office relocation improves the environment for staff as well as giving us better value for money by maximising the effectiveness of hybrid working.
System improvements
We have introduced automations to help create cost savings by reducing staff time spent on administrative tasks, this includes:
- Automating our council tax notification process to ensure we receive accurate and up to date bills.
- Automation for a new process to monitor for damp and mould and highlight these for staff to follow up on.
- Automation created to upload resident email contacts to our Customer Relationship Management system, allowing better cross team collaboration and improved communication with residents .
- Reports to provide performance information to staff on resident interactions with us.
All these measures help to improve our service to residents, help to keep us accountable and make us more efficient, leading to cost savings.

Cyber security
With our move to SharePoint comes improvement in security. Staff have received training on best practice on electronic data management and we have also continued to enrol staff into regular security training to ensure high levels of awareness.

Office move
In March 2023, we officially moved into our new office space at 29 Sheldon Street. As we now own this space, and it is smaller than Norfolk House, it will help us save around £200,000 a year on lease and running costs. This move also supports us with hybrid working, providing an improved environment, where the layout and design has been optimised for staff and how we work as an organisation. Collaboration and flexibility have been a focus here.
