Access our online services via your smart phone.

You might have noticed over the last couple of years that we’ve made the conscious decision to offer more services digitally. We started by developing a survey to residents to ensure we created digital ways of working that were suitable for you as well as us.

As a result, we now create our newsletters and annual reports in a digital format and no longer print copies, which means we’re saving a huge amount of money on printing and postage costs. We’ve also created the Myccha portal where you can view your rent statement instead of receiving a printed copy. You can also pay your rent and update any personal contact details here. And our website now lets you report service issues to us.

GoDigital is what we’re encouraging residents to do now and, given the current situation, this has never been more important. As we aren’t able to see you face to face at the moment, email, our website, Facebook and the Myccha portal is the best way to get hold of us right now. We expect this to be the way going forward in the future as well.

Engaging with us through your mobile phone

We had feedback from our digital survey which showed residents expressed the reasons for not using the internet as 'not having a computer'. However, 67% of those residents have a smart phone. A smart phone gives you full access to the internet including sending and receiving emails, reporting issues via our website, connecting with us through our Facebook page, and doing your online shopping.

Contacting us in this way is just as effective as making a call. It’s also more convenient for you as you won’t have to sit in a call queue or wait to get through to the right person, who might not be available there and then. By contacting us digitally, your message is ready and waiting for a member of staff pick up and deal with quickly. Digital training taster sessions feedback

Earlier this year we arranged a number of digital training sessions following on from feedback we received from residents saying this was an area they were interested in learning more about.

We managed to see a handful of residents that needed help with resetting their email passwords and basic skills on how to use their iPads and Kindles. Many of the residents gave feedback that they just weren’t interested in ‘going digital’, which is of course fine. However, ‘going digital doesn’t need to mean that you do everything via the internet, it can be as simple as setting up an email address which could be used by ccha to send you the latest newsletter. We no longer print paper copies of them but want to ensure everyone is receiving the important messages, fun stories and service updates from us to you. We can help you set one up over the phone its that simple!

If you know your neighbours aren’t currently engaging in this way, please do encourage them and ask them to get in touch, we want to be able to be actively engaged with as many residents as we can.
